Olivier Verest aka Dr. Olimantado is the second founder of the Original Freedom Fighter Soundsystem. Together with Mad Sick Eng he did forward them tracks on his soundsytem at home in a redgold&green stylee. Oliman was definitely the most creative selector, playin from early Jamaican ska to modern UK Dubtitles. Oliman was the man who painted a smile onto everyone's face. Especially at the local sportshall "Dulpop", he was a cherised man. When somebody started a war, Olimanado was their to come in between.
Oliman, who was MS Eng's neighbour brought his two cousins Mr. Bassie and Mr. Gigimantado to Bazel to join the "Dulpop Posse". Later on Mr. Bassie became a member of Original Freedom Fighters. On this picture you see Mr. Bassie on the left and Dr. Olimantado at the right. Dulpop Posse was heading for the sea that day.

Unfortunately for the OFFsoundsys, Oliman got to hear that he suffered an aggressive cancer. Nobody from Bazel and Kruibeke could believe that the town's most rightfull man could catch a disease like this. With pain in the hart his friends saw the cherished Oliman fade away while suffering from his chemotherapy. Prayin every day, the youth of Bazel hoped that Oliman would cure, and gets them dread upon the head again.

Olivier Verest died on december 8, 2003, one day after he became 21 years old. Until this day on, every Original Freedom Fighter suffers his dead. Oliman is not a dead man as he lives on in our harts, and as he is the only motivation for the OFFsound to move on...
