If you miss a friend, put your lighter ina the air, Engelo Rosier aka Mad Sick Eng is at the original foundation of Original Freedom Fighter Soundsystem. In 1998 he started playin reggae music upon his soundsystem, together with his best friend and neighbour Olivier Verest, aka Dr. Olimantado. Since Oliman died in 2003, MS Eng remains the only founder of the OFF soundsys. Eng is known among his friends as a creative artist, especially when it comes to painting weird pictures of babylon creatures, or upfull rastamen. Check the art Gallerie! |

Original Freedom Fighters were founded at the local sports hall. The youths of Bazel and Kruibeke used to come together there for playin some football, seduce some girls or just lay back and smoke a spliff, laugh and skylark with some friends. Always lookin out for them pigs tryin to rob the youth from their herbs... | ||

As said before, Enge en Oli were two best friends, as they call inseperable. The two dreadlockers started their own soundsystem in 1998 as "Freedom Fighters". After learning that their was another "freedomfighter crew" in Brussels, the two soundboys changed the name in "Original Freedom Fighters". The young soundsystem was active in Kruibeke, Bazel, Burch, Zwijndrecht and Antwerp. The sound was growin, the two boys got the looks and the skills. Unforunately for the Original Fighters, Oliman got to hear in 2001 that he suffered an aggressive cancer. From then on, Original Freedom Fighters was down for 2 years. Olimantado died on 8 december 2003.
